... and they're just the good points!

"<I>Recently, Microsoft's Juha Christensen invited the 20 biggest software developers allied to archrival Symbian to breakfast to try to win them over, much to the chagrin of Symbian executives when they found out</I>"

<!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//www.itmatters.com.ph/news/news_05022002j.html<!-- BBCode auto-link end -->

Of course, the fangirls at <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//www.pocketpcthoughts.com<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> think this is great (no doubt they would have liked to have seen Hitler win WWII as well).

One of the brainless has said;
"<I>If anything, Microsoft brings to this hurting, needing cell phone market OPEN standards true Internet support in the shape of IP, HTTP, HTML, XML etc. Symbian, and the companies therein, has during all these years just brought us CLOSED, proprietary products that are not even compliant with each other let alone Internet standards</I>".

I say that this is a lie. If Microsnot don't like it, they can take me to court.

But I don't recommend posting on <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->www.PocketPCThoughts.com (http//www.PocketPCThoughts.com)<!-- BBCode auto-link end -->, their minds are as open as a nun's legs and they'll accuse you of trolling.

I think whoever wrote that got the names the wrong way round. *ALL* of the symbian OS is open now (albeit for the right money), M$ will never open their system for however much money, probably because they don't want anyone to show them how crap it is.
