It's..... today's public service announcement, and it's that Adobe has updated Flash Lite 3.1 on the Nokia 5800 - not via a firmware update but as a standalone update in the 'App update' utility. It's a 700k download and installs without even needing a restart, which is pretty cool. Flash performance in Web is doubtless smoother, comments welcome if you notice a site-specific improvement. Hi, did the upgrade on my Sing phone... (v21 enabled)... definitely seems better for video...

interestingly, was also offered MailForExchange 2.9.160 (which is not available for download on the nokiabusinesssoftware.com site)... Can't tell any improvements yet.

I really like this phone, but its frustrating that the NAM version gets shafted time and time again! Where is the latest update that's been out for a month on most other versions? Where is our flash update?

nokia platform api specific sensor api at nokia 5800 does not give me any smooth reading, they r changing rapidly even my mobile is fixed (no movement, no rotation), i am trying same flashlite sample app from nokia forum....
how can i solve or reverse back to flash lite 3.

the only change i noticed so far is, zoom in & out button on standard toolbar is disabled. which use to be enabled when flv file played directly from gallery.

Hi is there anyway to obtain this for my 5800 other than through the app update which says no updates available (fw#20. UK VF)

i have the nokia 5800. I live in london uk. The flash lite update does not show in my applications update, but says 'all applications are up to date' (when they clearly arent!). I have downloaded the latest firmware to my nokia 5800, so i'm confused as to why this update is being kept from me? Is anybody else in my position? Does anybody know whats wrong? Thanks!

my 5800 used to not able to play xhamster.com videos at all, now at least it plays most of them. Renders the flash thumbnails faster too.. Overall, good update but more can be done..

how comes no one seems bothered about the fact that it still doesn't have any playback controls like reverse and fwd?
