Is there a Ringtone Editor for the 9210?

In fact one was announced yesterday - I just haven't got round to posting the news on the site yet (cause it still in testing) - in fact how did you get here?

I tried to import a midi into the new ringtone editor. the notes were ok but it didn't sound like the midi file. did i something wrong or is it a bug? does anybody know?

You might want to contact the author. He is friendly and would welcome a bug report (if it is one) - it might just be that the sounds for a ring tone are less extensive.

The only limitation of the trial version is that it only converts the first
16 notes of the midi file

If you can send us the midi file we can investigate. Note however that midi
files should ideally be one track and one channel, since the nokia can only
play one note at once. There are various websites with midi files suitable
for use as ring tones for nokia phones

Keep an eye this afternoon (or maybe tomorrow) for a rather large collection of ringtones and wav files be uploaded to the site..

No not 10's, not even 100's but almost 1,000!

The ringtones are now on the site 800.rng files and 64 wav files. If you have any send em in.

Given that most of the ring tones have no description, it would save us a lot of time if you can provide a link to a single zip file that contains all of the tones!

I'm working on it.. The site is a part time hobby for me and I've been a bit busy recently. Hopefully I will be able to sort something like this out shortly (need to find space if zip > 1MB). Basically its on the list and suggestion noted.

mean while there'll be another 100 .rng files with descriptions very shortly. I've also received some arabic / hinid .rng files which I will also add soon.
