Buzz seems to be growing in our forums that Samsung are getting their act together in terms of firmware updates for their S60 phones at last. Nothing over the air (yet), but firmware HJ7 (though from mid October) is now being offered via the latest version of their PC Suite. Join in the drama if you're feeling brave!

Fantastic that Samsung came through, both with new firmware AND the option to upgrade @ home.
I hope they fixed the lagging sound when filming......

Been trying all afternoon, but the Software Updater hangs each time at the Scanning device stage.... Will try again tomorrow, it might be something at Samsung's end..... I have an INNOV8 and a i7110 to upgrade, so it's worth me persevering!

I get "phone software updater does not support the connected phone". Unbranded and unlcked tho... with HH9. Hopefully later.

It's great that Samsung is updating software. Now, maybe Nokia can take a hint and do the same for us poor old N95-3 owners. They seem to have forgotten us altogether. No more Nokia for me.
