When I deleted a gif I was using for an animated background from the images folder it stopped animating, was this coincidence?
Also some gifs I have tried do not update their frames properly and leave trails behind, does this depend on the gif?

It uses the gif, so you shouldnt delete it.

I thought that by setting it as a background, like when eprofiles is not being used, that it would copy the gif to another directory and therefore I could delete the one in the image folder and save memory. If that is not the case then I will have to try to remember not to delete it.
