this is lalit can i anyone tell me how to know which nokia model shows sms with sender name when new sms received.As in case of nokia 5310 xpreesmusic,when we receive sms mobile displays 1 new message with sender name n number with photos before opening the sms.:)

I also want to know how to off this feature in 5310 i.e i dont want mobile to show sms with sendername on the display screen.

The S40 based phones do that. S60 based phone models don't (at least not now):
