Hello,

I'm sorry I must introduce myself on this forum in such an urgent manor, but I want to alert all gulf region members to stay away from gulf of mexico coastal regions. I was at the local beach today and the waters were very high! There are multiple flood warnings, erosion warnings, ripcurrent advisories, and so forth for the gulf coast of Florida.

I'd like to point out that we were 800 miles away from the eye, and we are experiencing major flooding of our coastal regions. This is a serious storm, and if there is anyone left out there that is below 30 feet from sea level near the gulf region coast you might want to consider the following video and use it to approximate what the water will be when it gets to you. Old fishermans trick, but we aren't using radio's anymore. Now it's technology!

I've included a video below which shows evidence of Gustav flooding already occurring in florida while the eye is 800 miles away. This was take on aug 31 2008 at 3:00pm eastern time. The location is Pine Island, Hernando County Florida.
