i was very happy with my p1i. but i have noticed that, i cant install/run any symbian applications/sis files. whenever i try to install it says,

"CANNOT INSTALL -
This version of the installetion file is no longer supported."

sometimes it runs installation but says after a few moment,

"INCOMPATIBLE APPLICATION-
this software might not be compatibale with your device. Do you want to proceed anyway?
(Yes/No)"
but after installation it doesnt run!

hi you, this your problem i think 2 point
- .sis file that you want to install not compatible your firmware device. May be it is not for p1i symbian as nokia or another device. so..on...
- your firmware device is old version so the soft can not install.
You can check this soft or you should update the newest firmware for your device. Hope you enjoy with your phone

Not all symbian OS are the same. The P1i has UIQ3 OS and it's different from other symbian OS's.

Try apps made in UIQ3 language and you will success. This OS has the capability of take advantage of the touch screen of the p1i among other stuff
