Hi all,

I want to use my n95 8G as a modem router, with DHCP server ? is it possible to share a connection like HSDPA or WIFI with Internet connection and a private wifi network provided with the n95 for a local network ?

there is an app called joikuspot that lets you share an hspda connection through n95

Yeah, that will do it... the 'most excellent ' review is here (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/6678_JoikuSpot_reviewed-Wi-Fi_anywh.php).....

But, its not encrypted when in use, and only allows you to share your HSPDA / 3G connection OVER WIFI, not share you WIFI.

The good thing though is that you can have mulitple connections , though clearly you'd then need to share the data too.

Thank you all for the reply, this product seems to be very good, i checked it but i think i will wait for the release version because i need to close the WLAN access point and i want to share a wlan connections and i have an error when i try to

no, because it isnt repeating. Its using a 3G connection therefore something else needs to repeat it. Its working as a router if anything.

Joikuspot wont work to pick up on wifi, to then relay it again.

True unfortunately.... Though this is possible with many wifi cards, so it would be interesting whether such thing can be possible with a built in nokia wifi. I would even be happy if my nokia can act as a wifi client and then distribute the signal further over bluetooth.
