Siemens are following Nokia in announcing their first Symbian devices as detailed in this PMN aritcle.
23 January 2003 -- Dow Jones -- Siemens AG plans to launch a smartphone, its first Symbian-operated product, in the coming weeks as it tries to keep up the pressure on rivals in the hard-fought mobile phone market, an industry source told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday. http://www.pmn.co.uk/20030123siemens.shtml
Is this the start of the inevitable snowballing of the Symbian operating system? ;)

Have been anticipating a Symbian phone from them for a while but have had no real news on this until now. Has anyone got any details, pictures, specs etc?

That's their 3G phone, all we need now is a network that will support it ;)

3 will be the first company with a 3g network going it seems, if they are on track it should still be April last I heard. As run by Hutchinson Telecom, the same people that made Orange the best mobile operator, then sold it.
