View Full Version : P1i: "Wrong Phone Lock Code", how to solve ???

Hi I just got a new Sony Ericsson P1i. When i power up, it ask for security lock code. the standard code i knew is 0000 but it is not working. I have tried many times and but it keep saying "Wrong Phone Lock Code".

How can i solve it ?

i had the same problem either that or its your sim lock what you can do is download the system updater and follow the insructions (go to sony erricson seect your phone and look fr security updates )

Hi, what security update program do you mean? I couldn't find such a thing on the SE UK webiste. Thanks.

MATE CHECK THIS SITE,

and look in the software and set up section sony erricson software update, then do the thang it should wipe the phone (format the mem to the new firmware) then you can reconfigure the phone failing that i aint got a clue dude:redface:

two things...

1. some SE phones have a default of 12345
2. google for XS++ software (at the time of writing v3.1 is the latest)... connect the phone using smartphone connect and the system interrogates the phone for the phone lock code and provides it in the dialogue window, doesn't exactly make phone lock codes worthwhile but its a way out of your issue...

and besides you'd have to be in the know to use XS++...
