I am trying to write some music to a miniSD card, but when it gets about a third full it says "directory or file cannot be created" This is the second card it's happened on, as I sent the first one back and this one is the replacment. I also replaced my card reader, but it still did the same. I am running Windows XP. Please help, it's driving me up the wall!
Try format the card with diferent file system, i.e., FAT, after that FAT32 and again FAT.

Tried formatting it. Worked fine with fat32, but the phone will only read fat.
It depends from phone. N80, N95, at least, can read FAT32 cards.

the phone in question is an N73. Am I right in thinking it won't read FAT32?
Maybe... I´m not sure. N80 and N95, I´m sure, because I tested.Maybe N73 with last firmware was able to do the same.

Does anyone else know if an N73 can read a FAT32 formatted miniSD card?
