Was looking at eBay last night at buying a proper copy of TomTom6, but after an exchange of emails with the seller, he informs me that Co-Pilot uses the internal GPS receiver on the N95 ( as TT still relies upon an external GPS Unit )
The reviews are that Co-Pilot works better than TT anyway - any views / comments?

tomtom is alot better than co-pilot,
much more user friendly and..
my address does not exist on co-pilot :(
so first time i told it to navigate me home, it took me to different area with my address
but much better than "maps"
so if your willing to wait (possibly for-ever) then wait for tomtom.
But if u cant wait, get copilot

Thanks moyhim, its kind of confirmed what I'm going to do . I did like the idea of not having to use an external GPS receiver, but as I have one anyway, its not big deal really.
I currently run TT5 with my Nokia 6680 and an external GPS receiver, and I have to say, it works perfectly.
I've just found out today, that my mate has a copy of TT6, which I can then d/load onto the N95 when I get it ! :)

You dont exactly have to look hard to find places to download TT6 for the N95. But Co-Pilot is very good, in some ways it's better than TomTom. I'm supprised it had such a big problem with that address moyhim, it's usually pretty good (they all pretty much use the same mapping/address data). They all make mistakes, TomTom 6 tried to turn me down an access road that lead onto a busy runway once!
moyhim, have you have any problems like that? I have used Co-Pilot before, but not this latest version on the N95 and i'm thinking of buying it.

well as of yet, ive not encountered anything like that.
its took me "the long way round" sometimes, but all nav systems do anyhow.
i guess the only part im not completely satisfied with entering addresses, its very picky at times, as i went out to pick something up off ebay, and because i did not enter a Space in the Post Code, it kept giving me an error.
although, they have a newer .sis file on alk so slight possibility its been ironed out.
...its a decent buy never the less
