A word of warning, never ever do it. I used the method detailed at blog.artesea.co.uk/2007/06/debrand-your-p990-m600-for-free.html, which worked absolutely perfectly and the phone was fully debranded as well as unlocked. However because I am on contract the phone no longer accepts my USIM card for the Three network in the UK.

This is a call out to all people out reading on these forums using the W950i on Three. I beg of you to tell me what the CDA of your handset is to I can reverse what I have done. Even better, is someone could provide me with the full blob_fs directory from SEUS for the branded handset I would be forever grateful.

Thank you *so* much for warning us... I was tempted to debrand my W950i as well, good thing I didn't. Unfortunately, I've been getting quite a bit of "Your phone has been restarted in order to improve performace", which is getting irritating - and I was just wondering if a firmware update would fix it. Only there is no newer firmware for a 3-branded W950i :frown:

New to this so please advise if I'm talking b_____ks. I am on a contract to 3 mobile. Have ungraded phone myself (brought a new unlocked/unbranded W950i).
A: Do I need to put '3' software on?
B: If I do can I do it from SE update service?
C: Or just leave as is (phone has not arrived yet so I have not tried anything).

PS: I have used SE update service before with other phones, but if I remember correctly it detects which networks software is already on your phone and will only allow you to load that (so if its unbranded will it only allow me to load the generic SE unbranded software?) .... Help! (please)
