Ok i did a search and wasnt very conclusive... is it possible to remove the front cover so I could spray it black [i cant find ANYWHERE selling black covers :( ] If so... how u do it? What tools would i need?

Yeah the opening tool is good, especially if you dont want to try the cheapos approach :P

If you feel like taking your life (or your phone :P ) in your hands then you can use 2 long but thin needle type screwdrivers and sliding them gently along the metal track but this is not advised so get the tool hehe :D
