A couple of years a go i had a program that allowed me to stay on 2g with my three network phone as i get rubbish 3g reception at my house.
is there such a program for the nokia n80?

u dont need a seperate program, just go,
menu -> tools -> settings-> network -> and change the network mode from dual to gsm. :icon14:
its defaulted to dual mode as its a 3g phone but u can manually select gsm only

mine only shows network selection and then manual or automatic :frown:

From what I can remember from previous posts, if you are on 3 you cant manually change this setting .. somebody correct me if I am wrong please..

i was on orange originally and flashed it with the generic firmware using the nss and nsu meathod, found here http://allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53110
u will void your warrenty but its a way round your prob.
also, do three have a gsm network? aren't they 3g only?

three use gsm as well as a back up its was o2 but going to be Orange from next year :cool:
