Ok, so I know you need to type *0# at the beginning of a message to get a delivery report on O2, but what I was wondering was, is there anyway to make the phone automatically put this at the beginning of every text? Possibly using templates or something similar??
I am using an O2 branded Nokia N80 with V4.0623.0.42 20-09-2006 RM-92 Nokia N80 (33.01).

yeah exactly that... if you make a *0# template and then create a new message, when you at the text field you can go : OPTIONS > INSERT and pic your template from there....
then your message will start *0#
Doesn't O2 support the standard delivery reports, which you can enable for all messages in the "Messaging" app settings?

I wonder why when they customise the firmware on 02 phones they can't include the *0# option

cos if that was allways set on it would piss alot of customers off , its not like a normal report that say voda etc have , when it comes to the fone its like a normal text to you 012345679 has recieved yer msg "what u doing tonight........................." etc , it actually includes partial yer original text
