Just got a P990i from Orange and setup the BlackBerry Client
Seems to work OK for a while but disconnects and will not re-connect until I cycle the power
I am at home and have noticed that 3G drops off so the phone reverts to 2.5
Seems like the BlackBerry client cannot handle this and falls over
Anyone else experienced this ?
Fantastic phone & if the BlackBerry Push email is reliable would be the best thing ever....

Ok Dude, Orange uses GSM/GPRS NOT 3G for BBConnect. Try setting preferred network to GSM. Might stabalize your BB conncection. I had same issues with E90 on O2.

Please check your preferred connection....if there are more than one connection listed under preferred connection....delete the others apart from Orange GPRS.

You might also want to try to configure P990i using the Roadsync software provided by Dataviz corp. which comes bundled with the phone. Or you can also download it from www.dataviz.com
