Is there anyway to turn of the backlight in the screen while we are talking? Doesn’t matter how long you talk, but the backlight in the screen doesn’t go off. It works fine with auto power save while we are not using phone, but while the phone is active it doesn’t turn off the backlight wasting the battery life.

Is there any way to disable the alert which comes at the end of every call.. I feel like that sound is really annoying… we do know we hang up the call and why do we need to hear that funny sound at the end?

man im wondering the same thing i mean why do we need the light when making da call,its draining the battery seflishly,also if theres a freeware program to stop the transition effects in the menu,and when will the new battery with the promised 9 hours of talk time,its such a turn off,and a big shame,this phone has alot of great features,but what attracted me the most when i did my research on it was the 9 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby time,boy was i disappointed.i miss nokia already :(
