Thanks to those who emailed in about GooSync, a free service that uses SyncML to synchronise your S60 or UIQ Calendar with your Google Calendar. Looks pretty simple to use, too.
Read on in the full article (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/4503_Smartphone_to_Google_Calendar.php).

Anybody know the settings for a Sendo X? It's not listed. Setting up the profile requires:
- Bearer type internet/wap
- Access point (presumably my usual GPRS access point)
- Host address (presumably the url provided by Goosync)
- Port (set to default 80)
- Username (presumably the one provided by Goosync)
- Password, ditto.
- Calendar, 'Yes'
- Remote Calendar (presumably 'Calendar')
- Http authentication yes/no
- http username
- http password

I've given up and been experimenting with ZYB.com. Worked first time and pretty cool.

There is a documented problem with SyncML on S60v3 devices. See http://groups.google.com/group/goosync/browse_thread/thread/9fabdb46bfacdffb/687142564f204b3c?lnk=raot#687142564f204b3c for current progress with this issue.
