Some links of interest: Digit Life have reviewed the Nokia N93, mainly in pictures; CoolSmartphone have done an excellent review of the Palm Treo 750v, not a Symbian OS device, but in many ways a very direct competitor (see my comparison with the E61 below) and interesting reading; also non-Symbian, but Nokia has announced the 330, a dedicated navigation device; and I'm not commenting on all the rumours of a new Communicator, so don't ask!

Read on in the full article (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/4490_News_roundup.php).

Steve, perhaps it's time to update - http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/s60communicator.htm :-)

There's a bundle of links and rumours floating around about the E90 (and perhaps the E80), a quick google should find the best of them.

There's already an E50 hands-on preview on AAS - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/Nokia_E50_Hands_on_Preview.php

I suspect a full review is in the pipeline, unless Nokia are being crap at sending out review phones...

My own mock-up is more realistic, I think, than the sketch of a new device on the other links...... Not that I have any more knowledge than you guys in this case - honest!

E50 - Rafe's been writing this for a while, but has got distracted by a new server, the Symbian show and a myriad other important things..... in summary though, he loves the E50 and uses it regularly - which is a pretty good recommendation....

A bit OT but since you mention the Windows Powered Palm, there is a nice comparison between S60 (E70) and Windows Mobile by a Windows Mobile user here: http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3440#article

Unlike others, the guy did obviously spend a great deal of time learning how S60 worked and all the tricks you can use which make its conclusions quite interesting. What it shows is that, apart from a few cosmetic issues, there really isn't much difference between both platforms. One thing he didn't take into account is the hardware and that's maybe were the real difference lies now.
