Well, it does have it's moments. Had a fight there between 2 clients this week. In the end had to call the police in to break them up.

What was even better, was a male and female officer arrived, and the female officer just stormed in between these two big guys to break them up.

Now that is a cool job, and the WPC had some guts.

Anyone got a worse job than Gadget17..... We are looking for bog cleaner or bin man (sanitary technician) here.

Just to p*ss off all the Europeans who are fairly PC ..
I sell guns. Work for the largest importer and distributor of firearms here, collect and instruct too.
Those of you in the UK might remember guns..those funny metal things that go bang and scare the hell out of your granny while she is knitting? They we just about banned there because it's much easier to ask the USA to send you all the surplus ones they have when war breaks out :D

Just doing my bit to clean out the genepool folks.
(Am I gonna need a fireproof suit?)

Where about Switchblade? I was stoped by imigration officers when I came by bus from Greece in Dover (channel tunnel). They didnt believe my passport was original and that I was Greek. We delayed about 10 mins only for me! That was fun!

Im 18 years old and going in school to be aChef, and i got two jobs on the side. Weekends I work at a company that delivers butter, milk, youghurt and about 400 other products, I also work in a restaurant after school a couple of days a week. :angel:

I just got Mobilphones as a hobby on the side...sometime people tell me that i made the wrong choise in career, but we'll see 8)

I love technology, so Naturally I like my job! Most would probley find it boring though...

How can I explain it... Hmmm... I research technologies of different compainies, and work out how they can use each others parts to fullfill the the specific requirments of what a customer wants... We do a lot of work with ITT [night vision] and the US mil' ... If for example they wanted a long range invisible laser targeting system, We would use Surefire(r) Infra Red weapons mounted laser technology modified with ITT NV optics... Most of the items and tech' we use isnt available for the General public, So I enjoy playing with top-notch tech' ... Well I like my job anyway! Get to go lots of nice places too!

Hey, I have to go and collect my money! I'm on the dole atm, looking for a job, desperate infact. Before I resigned from my last job (on good terms :D ) I was a Visualisation Designer, I had to build PC's and program the software for them that controls the entire building, expensive stuff but made your building "think" for itself. Had a nice pay packet after much training and effort shame the company I worked for was the ONLY company in the UK to actually do what they do otherwise I might have managed to get a job by now... goddam, I even had to work in Sainsbury's not too long ago and did some temping yesterday for £5.50 an hour, aaaargh!!! If anyone has a job going for anything creative, let me know, please! ;)

UG... worst job ever, I was a sales delegate ( sales delegate??) here in Portugal after univ. (Psychology). So basically I go round up to peoples homes between 6pm and 10pm, knock on their door and try to convince the NOT to insult me and NOT bang the door im my face for at least 30 seconds so I can then say what they dont want (new "regular" phone company), so THEN they insult me, slam the door in my face and move on to the next doorbell.

And I was payed to do that. :o

I just quite yesterday.

In Finland telecommunication companies (like Nokia) nowadays hire people with psychology background to do usability research. To make both software and hardware more simple and logical to the end user. Just an idea ;)

I work as an Editor or Staff Writer for a Finnish ICT magazine.

Mostly I write about mobilephones, smartphones, software (mobile, PDA and PC). I also do reviews and previews and product news. I have a few CD, mobile and web development projects too.

The best side of my work is that I get all the nice phones and applications for testing, meet interesting people and get to travel occasionally. The worst side is that this job doesn't pay well enough.
