Hello, I have looked for an answer to this problem but can't find one, so forgive me if it has already been posted before.

When I write long texts using either the keypad or a keyboard attached via Bluetooth, I often end up with the text "skipping" digits and moving on to the next text when there is no need.

In other words, I start off with 160 digits to use, and then when I move to the next text it only give me 116, then maybe 56 or even in some cases 12.

A long text / sms that should be only 2 texts long (320 digits) ends up being 7 in length even though it only has 320 digits...

Any suggestions??

If you are using special unicode characters it will allways happen like this.

I had the same problem..
To solve it, go to Messaging -> Options (left soft key) ->Settings -> Text Message
Then select "Reduced Support" on the "Character enconding" option..
That should do it..:)
