Hi,

Ive just flashed my phone with reaper software walkthru etc to v.4 from v. 3.

The programming got to 100% and everything was going fine, and then nothing. The last script phoenix showed was this:
Ape - > Programming: 100%
Ape - > Data send failed, Resending. Make sure cable is connected
Ape -> Flashing failed.
Flashing failed.

then the error dialog box appeared saying 'Phone returned response that connot be handled', and that was the end of the game.

At the moment the phone does nothing, and the pc cant tell what is connected on the USB port. I cant communicate with the phone at all

AM I screwed now?? :mad:

omg, sorry to hear that, but i guess u gotta go and look for a NSC, and tell them that it just stoped working

Why do that, when N80 is already supported with Nokia Software Updater tool, from Nokia Site without lost of garantee:con? Yes, I think You are screwed, or at least with some money to spend.

software updaters doesnt support all UK SP software versions... so that would have been why. v4 isnt signed off by O2, Orange etc. :rolleyes:

i would say i was using nsu and it died, in hope that they will blank it (without checking the finer details) and start it a fresh. (note if it crashes when using nsu and the phone is ander warranty they dont charge).

dont know if anybody else has tried that and failed!?

well, I think I'll have a bit more play time with it today and if that doesnt work then I might take it for a walk down by the lake ;)
