Here's a n interesting post from PocketPcThoughts about the hole thing over the SPV and certifcation of programs.

http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=45418

I especially like this line:
The quality of the free apps is generally pretty dire and with the possibility of malicious code being written by anti-MS loners I think lockdown seems a pretty good idea.

Poor bloke - evdiently has never played Vexed! Ot maybe he has and went mad?

OMG, those pocket pc guys seem to be out of their minds then :o :D
How can that serve anything to have little/freeware developers locked out?

That seems quite stupid way to solve virus/malicious coding issues :D
Maybe next version of our beloved windows :P does the same thing,
then we dont have to worry about those viruses anymore :P That would
be so great, only to have microsoft products, wohoo :bday: :bday:

:P :P :P :P :P :P

Virus, something that overpowers over things and becoming the only form left.

Microsoft, not allowing litle people to appear on their platform, effectivly destroying them.

Hmmm...
