Hi all, despite searching I was surprised not to find any posts on this issue, apologies if missed any.

The volume through the standard headset when watching a video is appallingly low. Music player and radio are both fine, it's purely video playback that's the issue. It seems fine through the speaker on the phone and if I use my own headphones with the 3.5 mm adapter it's better (still not loud enough though). Does everyone have this problem ?

Have any firmware upgrades improved it since May (when I got the phone). I've been loathe to upgrade it while I had no other issues.

Alternatively does using the ad-41 remote control headset remove the problem ?

no even if you upgrade your fw to v4 ,the video playback volume still low through the headset

So it's just a known problem that everyone lives with ?

Do the alternative headphones help ?

no i can't be so sure ,i used (ad 15) and (HS 23) and it still low volume
