Does anyone know a good technic to get "file mapping"(as on Windows) on Symbian OS ?

What do you mean with "file mapping", exactly?

Came to think of it... Are you, perhaps, talking about memory mapped files (a programming technique to speed up file access by mapping memory addresses to a file on a storage device)?

If so, a developer forum might be a better place where to ask your question.

If you're talking about something else, a clarification would be appreciated.

What do you really mean by "file mapping"? If you are talking about "Network Drive mapping" and file access to shared folders then you could use application called SymSMB as it allows Symbian OS files on Series 60 3rd edition phones to be shared for access from computer under Windows OS.
