Can I use the wasted space on my display, the area under where it says no cal entries for today, to display other icons or any notes etc. I am quite new to symbian devices and can't seem to find any information on if this is possible or not. Also, a program I used on my PDA added all the public holidays into its calendar for the next year or few years. Is there a program which will do this or a replacement for the standard calendar program which has the public hols already loaded. UK public holidays I should have stated.

Nothing to use what you call "wasted space".

If you use Windows and Outlook, you can add the national holidays there, and use PC Suite to sync with the phone.
