when i use file manager > memory details it tells me:

13mb mem in use
34mb free memory
5kb calendar
90kb contacts
10kb messages
0kb images
0kb sound files
0kb video files
4kb documents

ok, so 109kb "in use" even though it tells me im usin 13mb.

any idea what the 13mb in use actually is?

In use by the operating system?

its being used by apps that r on fone, for example, if u get a unlocked/generic n80 then apps like adobe/quick office etc can b removed but with say an o2 branded n80 sum 3rd party apps cant b removed! u cud try a format, type *#7370# into the standby screen! NOTE: this code DELETES all info u have put on ur fones memory including contacts, notes etc, ur mem card is NOT effected!
