:con? I live in the US and purchased an unlocked N80. I have T-mobile and subscribed to the data service for $30 a month for unlimited data access. When I do connect to a Wifi signal it doesn't really seem that much faster then when I'm connecting to the Tmobile GPRS. Anyone else notice this?

I have a 2Mb broadband link in UK, and N80 Wi-Fi access to the internet is significantly faster than UK T-Mobile GPRS.
I assume you are comparing GPRS with Wi-Fi and not 3G with Wi-Fi???

I know I'm gonna sound like an idiot but all I know about 3g is that it's "3rd generation"...not sure how it applies to internet connections...
I know of GPRS and EDGE...those are two T-mobile options for connecting. WiFi/WLAN is supposed to be the fastest option when it's available.
I guess I need to educate myself on what the h*ll it is I'm doing :con?
