Does anybody know if the N80 has a text message counter like some of the older Nokia's? My previous 6230i had a counter that recorded the number of sent text messsages and it was handy for keeping track of how many messages you had sent in that 'month'. I can't find one on the N80 and I can't find any reference to one in the user guide. Does anybody know for sure?

it defintely dosn't, which is a shame, my 6280 does and it comes in well handy, fingers crossed it may appear with the next firmware upgrade or i'm sure some cleaver kid will create an application that we can all install

Okay mate, thanks for the info.

As a work around you could have it save sent messages, then to check mark them all and hit delete, I think it then tells you how many there are and you can say no. You could clear them out at the start of each month.

If you go into the log then press right on the keypad then options-filter-messages..

This will show all txt incoming and outgoing.
