finaly getting off my arse and seting up my new phone contract ive ended up mooving from o2 to 3 and getting a much better deal

now for £25 mp for the 1st 6 months i recive
600 minutes
300 texts
then for teh remaning 12 i recive
300 mins
150 texts

wich suits me just fine, i had to pay £50 for my n80 wich is half of what o2 where asking and also get a few video mins and downloads thrown in aswell.

what i need to know now is what do i need to do to get the phone running at its best when i recive it?

i have heard things about turning down the brightness etc and changing conections to save batterey power???
is there anything i should do about firmware etc??

any help would be greatly apprecieated

All the things you mention will help, but I'd get the phone first an explore for yourself. There are several threads discussing firmware and battery life that are worth reading.
