This may seem stupid and think i no the answer already but this is just to check...

On my 6680 can i use o2's normal wap system instead of GPRS? I have a normal o2 sim (not 3G). its a genie so i get 300 texts/300 wap minutes - texts are used but my 300 wap minutes are wasted... so is ther neway to use normal wap on 6680 rather than GPRS? Im thinkin NO but hopefuli someone can make my day and tell me yes and tell me how...?

There is no "normal" WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) except through GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). GPRS is a packet data connection that WAP, Wireless Application Protocol, works over.

GPRS traffic is billed by the amount of data transmitted (in either direction), and not by the minute.

A few years ago, besides a packet data connection, phones also supported a, so called, circuit switched (dial-up kind) data connection for WAP. In those times per minute (or per second) charging was possible also for WAP (as a data call). However, I don't think operators (or phones, for that matter), have supported WAP in that fashion for several years.
