I am looking for a linux distribution which can run on Nokia mobile phone S60 series since I have N70 phone.
can anybody guide me to some of those distributions please.

There is no Linux distro you can install on any S60 phone (N70 or others).

I checked, and to my surprise saw that no Symbian phone seems to run Linux, and could not find a trace of somebody who might be busy to port right now. All I could find was a Linux version for EPOC machines like the Psion 5mx.

After thinking it through I would say that a Linux distro for modern Symbian smartphones would have one very big problem: drivers. I guess that on the hardware level there are many differences between the phones, even between phones that run, say, the same version of S60.

In contrast, the Psion 5 series was probably a simple and stable platform to aim at.

Maybe a "userland" Linux on top of Symbian would be possible, but not very attractive.
