Hi I'm new here, so please humour me if this has already been discussed in detail elsewhere.

I've recently (As in the last week) upgraded my phone to a Nokia 6680 on Organge. I'm having a few teething problems.

Firstly I've tried downloading some themes (not that I can find any particularly good sites - so if anybody can reccomend any I'd also be gratefull) but when I install them via Bluetooth Icant's seem to get the damn phone to change the wallpaper to that that of the theme. I've truied checking the "Default" tag on the theme, rather than "User defined" but it makes no difference. It always keeps the same wallpaper.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm also trying to find somewhere where I can download decent Message Alert tones, but have so far hit a brick wall. Anybody abe to help me on that one either?:frown:

Did you remember to select your theme?
It should be Settings/themes/{select your theme from the list}
[I have a 6630, but your menu shouldn't be so different ;) )

about sites ... Opera site has a pretty good themes collection too. symbianthemes.com has another good themes list ;)
A further research via google.com or google.com/xhtml should help better.

Hi, yes I did all of that.

The problem is that I'm on Orange, and I can't shift their Wallpaper with a theme. Each theme I load in changes the phone menus, but not the wallpaper. This kinda makes the theme concept useless...:frown:

your phone is locked to ur service provider :o and they want u to see there preety logo every day n every moment:tongue: ,i can suggest u to go to a local care center n get ur phone flashed,but i am not sure:rolleyes: if u will b able to use same phone connection again...so be careful:icon4: n get some more serious :icon1: info before doing it
