I purchased Nokia 6600 few months back. Yesterday one of my friends took the phone for some use and he returned it back today. Now i have a doubt that he might have changed the original battery. Unfortunately i did not note the no. of the battery.

My question is - is there a way by which i can find that the battery has been changed or not? I don't know how to do it coz i don't have the serial no. of the battery.

I believe there must be some way (viz. checking the battery no. from the phone or comparing it with the IMEI)

Please help to clear my doubt, if it is possible?

With the new phone (3230, 6630..) it has a way to check the battery. Found in the User Guide. I dunno with 6600 but there's no way with N-Gage.
