On the default screen of the Phone, I have on the left the option to access the messages, which is OK and on the right an option to access the Introduction/Initiation (I have this in Portuguese, no idea what the option is called in English) to the phone, which is ridiculous.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the option on the right? And is there a way of deleting the associated content, or are is it in ROM?

Also, is there an advanced book/manual I can read to understand the workings of the phone or some customization software that can be bought or downloaded?
