Heres my problem, can anyone help????

I got my phone (tmobile, uk, v 2.053717 18/9/05 RM84)

I did not bother with the CD, and downloaded pc suite ver 6.7 from the nokia website.

At end of installation I connected the phone, the computer went through the new hardware found routine, and recognized the N70. It appears in device manager.

When i try and launch the pc suite manage connections, i get the following error message.

"Cannot use media modules. Please reinstall pc suite (code ListMediaModules)"

Ive reinstalled a few times, each time using the nokia pc suite clean up program, but getting the same thing every time.

Im using Win XP ser pack 2.

Ive tried start/run..Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll

That aint working either!!!!

It aint just a pc suite problem, the phone will not recognize in life blog either.

This is really spoiling my enjoyment of the phone. Whats the point of a smart phone if I cant connect it to the computer??

I would recommend to use the cd pc suite and get your phone connected and working. Once you have done this it should come up automatically that there is a newer version of pc suite available. Update it that way instead and see how you get on.

I'm using the same phone and o/s and have no problems but i used the cd first and then updated.
