View Full Version : How Do I Hide A Java App?

I have an N-Gage that I sometimes let my kids play. I have some java apps that I would rather them not mess with, and I don't want to constantly hover over them while they're using my phone. Is there a way to hide or move a java app to another location so it:
1) doesn't show up in the "Apps" menu, and
2) is still easily useable by me?

Thanks so much for your help!

Install them on a memory card, and remove the card before you give the phone to somebody else.

That would be a great idea if I had a memory card, and if I could part with Colin McRae Rally long enough to use it

Any other ideas?

Money can solve the first problem. For the second one the fix is more self-control. ;)

I don't know what happens, if you'd turn on the "hidden" attribute for the .jar file of the Java program with FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/), but if you decide to experiment with it, let us know...
