I have an A1000 Which was great until the touch screen smashed. The LCD below and the 'screen' on top are OK though. Ive seen some varying prices for replacement from 3 but was wondering if anyone knew if the screen, not necassarily the LCD, from my old 925 is the same. If so are they easy to replace?

If I buy another 3 phone elsewhere ie ebay, will my chip just slip in and work or are some simlocked.
