question about formatting, using the code listed in a previous thread, once formatted does it bring it back to factory standard? if so is it automatic recover?
what programs am i expected to reinstall afterwards? As the title states NEWBIE.
The **7370# code reformats the X700 and puts it in the same state it was in (pretty much) when it left the factory where it was made.
In other words, all your stuff (pictures taken, videos recorded, contacts, calendar appointments, messages, etc.) will be gone (the SIM and the memory card are not affected).

ok formated the phone, works better, no locking up, no sd card errors but lost rintones(doesn't really matter), photobase (made a back up on sd card but my stupidity erased it) and quick office (got sd card backup of the 4 folders), now how do i reinstall them back. i use fexplorer and put the folders back to the apps directory where they were but they don't work, help please.

When you guys are charging your X700, does the phone automatically turn off? I'm running into this problem. Is this supposed to happen? TIA.
