I have had my A1000 for a while and when I first received it I was looking forward to connecting to my PC. I have installed the desktop suite and tried to connect via the cable provided with no luck. Tried all the forums and there suggestions no luck! So i have bought a bluetooth dongle!! Installed all of the software and reinstalled the desktop suite. I can send images to the pc and the phone connects with the dongle software but when I try to connect to the desktop suite i have the same problem: 'please connect ur handset' the msrouter cannot find the bluetooth device? but shows as connected via cable (I have no cable atteched) I have tried turning off the firewall, uninstalling ect. PLEASE somebody help I'm going CRAZY!!!!! :mad:

hey... just do the following:

1. connect your handset to the PC via the USB cable that came along
2. on your handset, go to Applications > Desktop Suite and tap on the Connect button shown therein.
3. Open Motorola Desktop Suite on your computer and click File Browser to verify that your handset is now connected!!!
