I wonder if someone can help with a messaging problem I have with my 6620. I have an email account configured on my phone which allows me to send/receive email from my free ISP. This works perfectly well most of the time, however when I have a large number of messages on the phone I start to encounter problems.
What tends to happen is that message headers become disassociated from the message bodies. So if I click on an email from 'joe@bloggs.com' it opens another message I've already downloaded from 'jeff@spoon.com'. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to this, for instance a header doesn't open a previous message it seems almost random.
At the moment I have 46 messages on my phone, some I've downloaded just the message headers others the complete email. It's becoming increasingly frustrating because I work away from home for up to two weeks at a time and I'm unable to check my email via any other means. I've tried restarting the phone with no luck and there's plenty of free memory.
So far the only way I've managed to cure the problem is by emptying my mailbox from home, once that's the case the one on my phone works as normal.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm sure I came across the same problem with my Nokia 7650 and never managed to find a cure for it then either. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
