Please can you help me, I am looking for the file name of what I need to set my new Op Logo on T-Mobile UK

Try this:
- size of these pics must be 97x25 pixel
- name of pictures must be the ICC ID of the operator, with this syntax:
XXX_YY_0.bmp (so, for example, for T-Mobile UK it will be 234_30_0.bmp )
Please try searching the forums first as you will not be the last person to ask this

just to let u know, u guyz are AMAZING ive had my phone for 2 weeks and i was starting to get bored of it, i searched the net for nokia forums and found this kick azz site!! :D

I have downloaded a smaple logo and send it to my phone via infrared. Renamed it to 234.10.0.bmp but does not work. Any ideas on how to get logos to work?

Try using underscore (_) instead of full stop (.) :)

the no. is 425 01 so how do i write the file name what will it be ?

You must use 425_1_0.bmp not 425_01_0.bmp

Then you have to turn your mobile off then on.

you can find at Z:\System\bootdata\operinfo.txt (Nokia 7650)

i got that to work but after 1 sec in changes back :(

After you made it. Then, you have to turn your phone off then turn it back on.

still no change..

Your path should look like this

C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo\425_1_0.bmp

If yes, then I don't know what wrong with it.

dude it is like this i can view my logo for 2secs and then it disappears

My suggestion is

Down load SeleQ program from Ximplify web site.
use File ---> Set as operatot logo
Then check what really is your path and file name.

Dudes, LOVE the forum, damn useful, but can't fro the life of me get the operator logo to change to somethin nice. What is the filename i gotta use for O2.

Hi,
You can use Extended File Manager to set your operator logo. You need only to choose picture and it will do everything for you.

An Easier way is to use something like sTools to set your operator logo, as long as you save the image as a bmp 92x25.
Use Stools to select create operator logo then select your image , Hey presto an operator logo!! none of that messing about with searching for files and renaming em.

Ill also free some of your ram.
