Dear Friends,

I Just Bought A Brand New Ngage. I Have A Problem Of Connecting It To My Pc. I Have Tried By Switching It Off And Also Removing The Game Card But I Am Still Not Able To Connect It. Every Thing Is Working Fine Except This. Even the display of phone is also showing that usb cable is connected. i also checked my usb in my pc.

Please Help Me To Solve The Problem Or I Will Not Be Able To Use This Powerful Phone. It Will Turn Out To Be An Odinary Phone Set.

MY PC DETAILS

MY PC HAS WINDOWS 2003 SERVER, THOUGH I ALSO CHWCKED IT ON MY OTHER PC WHICH HAS WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL. BOTH THE PCs ARE SUPPORTINGMY OTHER MASS STORAGE DEVICES, LIKE, MEMORY STICK, PALM TOP, MP3 PLAYER.

PLEASE HELP

Waiting For Response.

Do you have a writable MMC card (not an N-Gage game card)? The USB connection for the N-Gage is only for accessing the memory card (you can't use it to get to phone memory, or use it for PC Suite; for that you need to use Bluetooth).

dear friend,

THANKS FOR UR REPLY,

I DO HAVE OTHER WRITABLE MMC CARDS. BUT STILL ITS NOT WORKING. THE PROBLEM IS WITH OPERATING SYSTEM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. BECAUSE WHEN I CONNECT MY USB. THE RESPONSE OF THE PHONE IS INSTANT AND IT ALSO SHOWS THE USB CONNECTION ICON ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE DISPLAY.

MY ROOMMATE HAS ALSO THE SAME MODEL AND HIS PHONE IS CONNECTING AND WE CAN INSERT DATA VERY EASILY.

I HAVE ENCOUNTER ANOTHER PROBLEM OF OPERATING SYSTEM NOT LETTING ME INSTALL THE PC SUITE. I HAVE WINDOWS SERVER 2003 ENTERPRISE AND WINDOWS 98. AT THE END OF THE INSTALLATION IT DISPLAYES A MESSAGE THAT UR TCP/IP PROTOCOL IS NOT INSTALLED. BUT IT IS AND I AM USING THE SAME PROTOCOL TO RUN MY PCs ON THE HOME NETWORK I HAVE INSTALLED.

WAITING FOR UR EARLIEST RESPONSE.

THANKS.
