Magic Marker 06-11-2002, 03:51 PM Well, I've heard of missing SIM cover when first opening the retail box. Just go back to the store and tell them what the problem is. The cover itself should be tightly attached to the phone and if it's not, then it's broken.

It fits ok,but it does shake a bit.
Raveot 06-11-2002, 04:26 PM Mustu: Itīs the same for me too. I guess itīs quite common.
seanmiguel 07-11-2002, 01:38 AM yup, same problem here, but doesn't bother me that much.
mjsee 07-11-2002, 01:41 AM i have one too!!! i shouldnt return my first 7650 to globe telecoms, when they replace it with a new one (cause it hangs often) the sim cover is realy loose and then it was made from china and not finland anymore
this happened to me too, this is easily fixed however.
all you have to do is apply a little bit of pressure on the sim cover and bend it out (don't bend it in or u will just make it looser) a bit.
now my cover doesnt move at all.

can you explain this once more, how to fix this problem. thanks
mjsee 07-11-2002, 07:41 AM been there, done that but i think the cover does not really fit on the fone, u can see a little bit of space or miscalculate of size of the cover. so just one thing u can do from now... love wat u have
mine is perfect, u just have to spend a bit of time playing with it till you get it rite.
if its not rite take it out and bend it again (or bend one side more if uneven).
you just have to have the time and patience to play around with it.
took me a good 2 - 5mins playing around with it till i got mine perfect.
also, the phone is 10x better to hold when it's not loose.

just take off the sim cover and and bend out both sides softly, then put it back in and if still loose, take out and bend it abit more, keep doin it till the cover isn't loose anymore.
you have to play around abit to get it to perfection though.
seanmiguel 07-11-2002, 09:10 AM thanks for the reply, we'll see if this will work for me.
Magic Marker 07-11-2002, 10:30 AM You know what, I just checked my SIM cover and it is a bit loose. Nothing too dramatic, though.

My sim cover is a bit loose too but also, which disturbs me more, the keypad (the entire part which you have to pull down to reveal the camera) is loose. It's really annoying. If I grap the keypad and shake my phone it makes clicking noise!
Anyone else have that? As I recall the piece has been loose ever since i got it :-( What should I do ?
MaleBuffy 07-11-2002, 08:25 PM I have that, but it appeared due to the heavy use! However, I saw a 7650 which was screatched, doped down, dirty and not working but the Slide was firm and stable! I guess its random!
