I'm looking for a device to replace the 9500, I really like the look of the A1000, few questions though:

1; Is the phone still open to all UIQ application in much the way that the PXXX series is?

2; Is the firmware updateable OTA?

3; It has a GPS chip in it right?, can this be used for Satellite navigation with the likes of TomTom etc?

4; Is data on the phone still restricted with Three?, like the "walled garden approach"?....What are my other options?, will it work with a 2.5G (Regular GSM sim?)

5; Any problems or niggle with the handset?
