help i can receive my emails on my phone from my pop3 account but i cannot send. when i send from outlook i have to enable sending securty or something but when enabled on the phone it does not send. please help.

i can give someone an email account on my server and the access instructions if you email me at: email@sheetlightning.com with the required username and password. i will email you back to confirm account activation. i will not close the account after testing so you can use it as a normal account after. main benefit, personalised email account, cool domain and no advertising!

Hi sometimes I can email from phone other times no go.

Of couse it doesn't work at the most important times.

It is very frustrating especially when nothing has changed with my settings

Mine is equally eratic. Didn't work for ages, then all of a sudden worked for about a day and now nothing again. Receiving seems a bit more stable.

i'm having the same situation at 1st, later realised that its was the outgoing mail server issues. For my case, I'm using 1 pop3 a/c service provider and the onother voice(phoneline) service provider. For incoming l, I have to set the server from the pop3 a/c but for outgoing I have to set the server from the voice service provider(lucky they hav 1 as they also provide mailbox/internet service). I guess those that are not working probably their voice service provider don't have outgoing mail server.

would anyone like an email account on my server to see if they can get it to work?
