There are no plans of Nokia updating the Micro-Kernel (The Series 60 book is usefull at last). The 3650 currently has the Sereis 60 1.0 as well! I dont know about the release ones though! Bad Nokia, bad! :evil: So the new 1.2 version won't be compatible with 1.0, and other manufacturers like Samsung and Siemens will be using the 1.2???! I think we, users of Nokia 7650, are all beta testers for a next generation Smartphone OS. And Nokia 3650 will be the first "Release" product based on Series 60. There's also a MIDP SDK for Series60 v0.1, that doesn't belong to either systemsoftware or java-version. It just means that the SDK is not final, not that the phone isn't final, imho.
