has anyone got a6680 in spain if so where did you get it, also is it on contract, i could buy one here sim free, but i would not have a 3g sim card to put in, so is it best to buy here sim free or wait till i get to spain and go contract, as i will be living there

I have a 6680 here in Spain. Got it sim free from a shop in Madrid. Their website is here (http://www.antzup.com).
There's no such thing as a 3g sim card. It's to do with whether your provider has enabled it on your account or not. So if you get any sim here, contract or payg, it will work fine. Whether you should get it where you are now or wait till you get here depends on what it costs there. Antzup is one of the best prices around at the moment.

what network are you on, i have a pay as you go phone in spain on movistar so i could keep the sim i have ,and get them to enable it for 3g or shall i get antoher one

You'll be fine with movistar. They have decent 3g coverage too.
